This place has been here since I can remember. It has a great variety of different stores and I can always find what I need here. A fantastic place to go for Christmas shopping for friends and Loved ones. Also a great car of food. Santa is there now for Christmas wish list for the children. Also, I just took m girls to Ride the animal scooters that was only 6 bucks each. It was a fun time.

I live on walking distance and it's a nice place to take a walk when it's too hot or too cold. I would not say it's dying, but evolving. The city of Athens approved $650 million for redevelopment which will take several years. There is barely any shopping left, in 2024 alone they closed Mandarin Express, Journeys, Rue 21, Lids, and Spencer's recently announced they are leaving. It's more about services like an optical, a fencing school, a taekwondo academy, armed forces recruiters, the Athens bridge center, youth force, a barber shop, and a few more I am forgetting.

This mall used to be a fantastic place, but things have taken a turn for the worse. Some of the stores like Rainbow and Elite Furniture have shut down, and even Bath & Body Works is gone. It's pretty sad to see the mall going down the drain, and guess what? We're part of the problem. A lot of us have been shopping online, and that's hurting these malls. But here's the good news – we can fix it! To make this mall awesome again, we all need to start shopping at the few stores that are left. When we do that, it shows that we want the mall to thrive. And when more people start shopping here, it'll attract new stores to come in. So, let's support our local mall and make it a great place for everyone once more!

We love this mall! I just wish all the stores would stop moving out. The mall is always clean and parking is easy.

I went there with my daughter today and had a great time.. There was a Christmas parade with santa Claus .. and the lady let me and my daughter ride the motorized animals for free for like 45min which was extremely nice. I think it was bc of the parade but still she didn't have to do that but she did and we had an amazing time

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RECONSIDER KEEPING THE MALL OPEN AND ALIVE. THE PEOPLE OF ATHENS NEED YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everybody, all ages and cultures have the best memories from going to Ga Square their whole life, including myself. It would come back on fire if re-ignited !!!!!

We walk there every day and go there because it is climate controlled, clean, has security, terrible music and has great parking. I hope the mall will come back to life soon.

I feel bad that the people who work here probably struggle to find customers or whatever in Georgia Square Mall, also the mall is almost dead, it reminds me of the backrooms, but there is one big store, that is belk, it’s the only big store that is open, there is few store somehow still open, I sorry that this ball is almost dead, but I give 5 stars because of belk is the only big store open, also I find the backrooms!!!
